Social networking has drastically changed the way people interact with their friends, associates and family members. Although social networks, like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram YouTube, and Snapchat play a major role in our day to day lives, wouldn’t it still be nice to have some privacy?
Instagram recently added a new feature, Show Activity Status, that exposes the last time you were roaming on Instagram. It’s kinda creepy, to say the least. Why does someone need to know the last time you checked out your favorite people to stalk on Instagram or like your friends picture? For myself and I hope millions of others turn off your Activity Status switch and enjoy some social media privacy.
Step 1. Open Instagram then select your profile tab — it’s the icon in the bottom-right corner. Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner just next to the “Edit Profile” Tab.
Step 2. Scroll down in the Settings Page and you’ll find the Show Activity Status Switch. Slide or Click the toggle switch “Off.” Once “Off” you should see the switch no longer highlighted Blue. Now enjoy no more people stalking your life!
