This is just the beginning of Nike’s partnership with Kaepernick, even though this is just an extension of the deal they had with him back in 2011, when he entered the NFL. However this might spark some controversy between the NFL and Nike, as Nike is the official uniform supplier of the NFL since 2012. With Kaepernick suing the league, Nike’s business with both sides might be strained.
With the buzz surrounding this partnership, one can be confident these two names will be on headlines again, in no time at all. Nike’s partnership with Kaepernick is sure to not be a quiet one.
